    Hi guys,
everything working ok with the bridge so far except user attribution.

There were lots of posts on the wordpress side with many different authors, but since the bridge the authors have nearly all changed. Posts are showing up with the wrong author name on them or with no author name at all. I tried to manually edit the wordpress post but when it is updated the problem remains.

Also, when the wordpress post is posted to the forum, the post always comes from the admin account and not from the post author.
    Hope you can help,

    Thanks

This problem is only applying to posts made before you installed the bridge? If so it's a problem I've come across before, we should be able to resolve it.

    Hello,

We just bought the bridge and we found this problem as well, but not just with old posts.

If the writer publishes directly, it's ok, his name shows on the blog as author, but if it's me posting a text and selecting the author on the article to attribute it to him, it shows a different name, the same name the posts before installing the bridge are attributed to in his place, which is annoying for my contributors...

Can this be fixed please? It's not good for our blog as we need contributions and people wants to see their names in their work.

This is a problem that's been discussed before, and I'm not sure is really fixable. You have to remember that the post is now being saved into XenForo too, and as far as XF is concerned you are only logged in as yourself - you have no right to post on behalf of other people. It's something I can look into at some point, but it is not a quick resolution unfortunately.
